01. Brief

An evolution from the 2017 ‘Fleur” logo project.

Working closely with Sweet Group & Lully to produce title animations for the EP.

The brief was to expand on the Lully Fleur 3D logo developed in 2017 and create a title sequence for each track on the EP.

02. Concept

Take the 3D Fleur logo and re-vamp to fit in with the Lully EP brand. Create a bold title graphic for each track.

Typography options were explored for the track titles, landing on Swiss 721 typeface, Bold Extended & Black Condensed to add a kooky feel to the title layouts.

03. Development

The 3D Fleur logo and environment were re-textured to fit in with the Lully EP brand.

3D beveled titles created in Cinema4D, developed from the Swiss typeface and placed in the 3D scene. Textures were created using C4D reflectance channel and physical render. A highly reflective black texture was chosen on by Lully.

This setup was used to illustrate each of the Lully EP track titles.

04. Motion

Camera pans & compositing tricks were used to gave a parallax effect moving through a never ending corridor.

The tiled background was rendered independently to the titles, allowing a seamless loop to be created.

The fleur & title animations then composited in After Effects to create a scene for each track.

The animations were then edited into teaser videos & social media clips for the promotional campaign.
