01. Brief
Turn a basic Lully logo concept into artwork.
The logo concept sketch was a Fleur de Lis with a snake tail featuring a hand as the middle leaf.
Key Words: Sumptuous, delectable, opulent, elegant. Want to eat it.
For conceptual continuity, bear in mind existing Lully imagery.
This could mean glass-looking logo, or glass elements – but we are open to interpretation on different textures.
02. Concept
Take the basic sketch concept and create a 3D logo.
The concept was to create a 3D logo in Cinema4D with opulent textures and create a logo that would work for promotional use and animated promos.
The project started in Adobe Illustrator refining the supplied rough sketch into the reference point for 3D modelling.
03. Development
The 3D Fleur logo created in Cinema4D r19.
Once the concept had been refined in Illustrator work began on generating the 3D logo geometry. A combination of tools such as Sweep, Extrude, Bevel & Boole were utilised.
04. Motion
Simple 3D rotation.
The requirement was 4 to 5 second video clips or GIFs. Simple 3D rotation was used to display the 3D logo in full glory.
The images & clips were used as part of a promotional campaign for Lully.
