Overview
The Wombats are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2003. Since its inception, the band’s line-up has consisted of Matthew Murphy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Tord Øverland Knudsen (bass, backing vocals, keyboards), and Dan Haggis (drums, backing vocals, keyboards).
Brief
AWAL approached OneTenEleven with the brief for the creation of the artwork for The Wombats Latest EP ‘Is This What It Feels Like To Feel Like This’.
eBoy providing the illustration, the brief was to create layouts to compliments the ‘Fix Yourself, Not the World’ campaign.
Process
eBoy provided the cover illustrations. OneTenEleven produced layouts for the Vinyl EP artwork, labels & inner sleeve.
A simple grid system was developed to compliment the artwork. The grid was utilised across the artwork creating colour blocks as a background to the track list.
